Our Team

Working Together to Create Opportunities

Sports 4 the Kids is powered by a team of community leaders, professionals, volunteers, and student advocates who believe in the life-changing impact of youth sports. Together, they work to expand access to athletics for children across Central Florida by supporting scholarships, equipment drives, partnerships, and programs that help kids stay active and engaged.

Danny

Danny Trosset

President and Executive Director

Danny Trosset is the founder and president of Sports 4 the Kids and has spent much of his career working within the sports and tourism industry in Central Florida. A graduate of Bishop Moore High School and Flagler College, where he studied Sports Management and Business Administration, Danny began his career with the Central Florida Sports Commission before joining the Seminole County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Today, he serves as the Director of Sports Tourism for Seminole County, helping attract sporting events and visitors to the region. Danny’s passion for sports began early in life and has remained a constant throughout his career. In 2008, while working in the sports industry, he witnessed an increasing number of children in the community facing homelessness and financial hardship, many of whom were unable to participate in youth sports due to the cost of equipment and league registration fees. Determined to create opportunities for children, Danny founded Sports 4 the Kids to ensure that financial barriers would not prevent kids from playing the sports they love. Through partnerships with schools, leagues, and community organizations, Sports 4 the Kids has grown into a nonprofit dedicated to serving children across Central Florida. Danny’s vision is to continue expanding the organization’s reach so that thousands of children have the chance to participate in sports programs that help build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong skills.
