GEAR UP!

Take the lead in helping Sports 4 the Kids collect and distribute sports gear to children in need. This project involves managing gear collection drives at practices, games, or individual locations, delivering donated items to the S4TK warehouse in Lake Mary, and hosting GEAR UP events by selecting a day/time that fits your schedule. Members will help organize equipment in the warehouse to keep it ready for families who visit. A hands-on way to make a difference and ensure every child has the opportunity to play.

The warehouse is open for donations and distributions Thursdays 7–8 PM

MEDIA IMPACT

Create 3 engaging reels or digital media pieces to help promote the mission of Sports 4 the Kids on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, or your school’s media channels. Choose your focus—highlight a GEAR UP event, promote the club, feature the Ambassador Program, or spotlight how S4TK provides youth scholarships and sports gear. Or propose ideas for media impact! Use your creativity to raise awareness, inspire action, and share the impact of S4TK with a wider audience. This project also helps raise awareness and support for students who may not have the gear or resources they need to participate in sports. Completed projects may be featured on the charity’s official platforms.

GAME ON!

Represent Sports 4 the Kids by volunteering on the field! Choose from locations like Seminole Midway Safe Harbor Center, KidZone, or another nearby recreation sports program where you can make a positive impact. Members wear their S4TK shirt, arrive prepared to help, and support kids during activities with the mission of S4TK in action. Members can also join the

S4TK Spirit Team, attending practices or games of S4TK Spotlight Athletes to cheer them on, especially when parents can’t be there.

To participate in Seminole County youth-related activities, please complete the Dividend Volunteer Form at least 3 days in advance for official clearance.

AMBASSADOR PROGRAM

Help grow the Sports 4 the Kids Ambassador Program by connecting with athletes of all levels—professional, college, high school, and retired—who want to inspire the next generation. The project will help organize support for high school signing events—coordinating club members to attend and celebrate student-athletes as they officially commit to playing their sport at the college level. You’ll invite athletes to become Ambassadors by sharing their story through a short video or written message about their sports journey. These spotlights will be featured on S4TK platforms to encourage scholarship recipients and show how goal-setting, perseverance, and a passion for sports can lead to success both on and off the field.

Club Members can choose to focus on one or more areas, including working with sports program providers to build partnerships that allow S4TK scholarship recipients to join their teams, coordinating volunteers for tabling opportunities at orientations to promote S4TK Clubs and resources, or assisting with outreach to gather sponsors for the annual charity golf tournament. This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, and helping connect communities to S4TK opportunities.

DRIVE FOR IMPACT

Play a key role in making the Sports 4 the Kids Charity Golf Tournament a success! This is our only annual fundraiser, and it raises the scholarship funds that allow kids to participate in sports throughout the year. Club Members will help coordinate the 13th annual tournament. Lucky 13 is taking place on December 7, 2026, at Heathrow Country Club. Responsibilities may include recruiting sponsors, organizing raffle items, supporting golfer outreach, managing volunteer roles, and assisting with event-day logistics. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in event planning, fundraising, and community engagement while helping create a memorable milestone for a meaningful cause.

GOALS 4 THE KIDS

GOALS 4 THE KIDS

Support the interactive side of the Goals 4 the Kids Wellness Program, which all scholarship athletes participate in as part of their sports journey with S4TK. Club Members will help brainstorm and prepare fun, engaging activities for each of the program’s focus areas: Nutrition, Sportsmanship, Conditioning, Mental Wellness, and strong Study Habits. They’ll also assist with organizing guest speaker sessions, helping set up materials, and collecting feedback from athletes after each event. This is a great project for a club team that enjoys working with kids, being creative, and encouraging healthy habits through hands-on learning and inspiration.

VOICES FROM THE FIELD

Help bring real stories to life by leading the Voices from the Field, a storytelling project designed to raise awareness about the impact of Sports 4 the Kids. Club Members will interview a coach, athlete, parent, or team manager who has benefited from S4TK programs or scholarships. After preparing interview questions and coordinating the interview, members will creatively present the story using a format like video, infographic, Q&A post, or social media content. Interviews can be conducted in person, by phone, or virtually—live video is encouraged for bonus community service credit. This project is perfect for a club team interested in video, media, & community impact. All participants must follow interview guidelines, secure proper consent, and submit their content for sharing on S4TK platforms.
